There are times when a driver becomes distracted, especially with all the technology that is made available today. Hot summer nights are coming amongst us and we all know that is when people get out their bikes and just freely ride. Most of them bikes have loud pipes. Why? you ask? Because LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES! Distracted drivers may not see the motorcycle next to you, but you can hear them. You may not see the 4-wheeler next to you, but you can hear it. Which means you should be conscious of the surroundings. Loud pipes are not for those who determine who's bike is better, it is to save lives!
To whom it may concern:
There have been countless times my father, friends, brother, aunts and uncles have been run off the road due to distractive drivers. We, the citizens of Minnehaha and Lincoln County, are taking action into making sure this no longer happens. We oppose your law about loud pipes on motorcycles. We believe that loud pipes save lives. And without those loud pipes, one may never even know they are there!
