Maximum Penalty for animal abuse in San Marcos is necessary for these crimes to be taken seriously

Dogs were found dead in a U-haul in San Marcos, Texas. Karen and Bruce Knutson shoved 8 dogs in with furniture and no ventilation or water. They showed absolutely no concern or compassion for the animals welfare. Their actions make them responsible for what should be considered murder.

I'm asking the courts to show no mercy. Give them the maximum sentences for their crimes. Animal Cruelty needs to be treated as a serious crime that carries sever penalties. The animal neglect I've seen in San Marcos is appalling.after living in Austin for 20 years. Someone needs to stand up for the animals and get tough on crime involving animals in San Marcos and Hays County. Statistics show that people who neglect and abuse animals, also neglect and abuse people. Animals lives matter. Dogs depend on us to care for them and trust us as a child would.
Please protect the animals. We are their only voice.
