STOP THE UNLAWFUL FREE GIVEAWAY OF ROADWAY INFRASTRUCTURE EXEMPTIONS FOR DEVELOPERS

The Maui County Council was duped into amending an Ordinance (Title 18), in Upcountry Water Bill legislation, to allow commercial developers, and real estate investment properties to get FREE roadway infrastructure exemptions on ALL 2 Lot Subdivisions ISLAND WIDE.

Upon discovering this, our new Chief Prosecuting Attorney, then Council member Don Guzman submitted a resolution to REPEAL IT!

But, then there was an election...everyone became distracted...and nothing has happened.

A courageous private citizen filed a suit to stop the DEPTARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS from approving these subdivisions, and, to hold the Corporation Counsel Attorneys responsible who allegedly mislead the Council.  But, they won't stop and continue to approve more and more!!!

PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION TO SUPPORT ERIC POULSEN'S EFFORTS TO PREVENT ONGOING HARM TO MAUI TAXPAYERS WHO ARE PAYING FOR DEVELOPER'S ROADWAY INFRASTRUCTURE OBLIGATIONS WITH THIS UNLAWFUL ORDINANCE.
