No more bread in E.B. Reins park!

From my personal experince, I know that few people actually know that feeding bread to ducks and geese is not exactly... good.

Experts say that feeding any type of food to migrating ducks or geese can ruin their traveling habits or, worse, get them to like humans.

Ever scince I was 8, I have continuously told people 'NOT TO FEED THE DUCKS!' ,
but who is going to take an 8 yr old seriously?

The bread that most kids feed the ducks is covered with toxic substances (E.G. mustard, ketchup) and, if the ducks or geese bite you, then most kids get the wrong idea and start trying to KILL the geese! (Iv'e saved multiple geese from being jabbed from sticks from some irresponsible child who was bitten by a freightened geese.)

Again, what if the geese stay and are being fed unatural food, while getting cozy with humans, and eventually, a hunter?!

I, with your help, am going to tell my mayor to not allow the feeding of ducks in E.B. Reins park, Colorado .

Note: Dear signature #46, when I was 8, I read that bread would swell up inside duck's stomachs. That book is obviously outdated. But later, I would tell people not to feed the ducks because it ruins their feeding habits AND kids there always feed the ducks hot dog bread- covered in ketchhup. There is a sufficent supply of food at the lake.
