Students Against Joining the Tri-Valley League

We are the students against joining the Tri-Valley League because we feel it will in no way help Dedham High Athletics. We do not want girls' teams to have to suffer for the sake of one boy's team. Our girls teams are some of our best teams, based on records. All of us want to remain in the Bay State League because it is the most competitive league and we enjoy being challenged on the field/rink/track/court/etc. We enjoy competing against the best because it pushes us to be the best possible athletes that we can be. Losing games/meets only encourages us to work harder and practice more. Also, we'd appreciate not having to compete in towns extremely far away from Dedham, so that we can come home at a reasonable hour. We believe Dedham sports will only suffer from the league change, not get better.
