Stop the School from Stopping us from Being us!

The Northwest Rankin High School is making absurd new dress code rules that really only go for girls. They are being extremely sexist. They are banning girls from wearing legging useless they wear them with very long dresses and their arguement is that it is distracting to the male students when jeans are just as distracting to guys. Along with the leggings hats and hoods are not to be worn and for what reason? None that's the reason. You have the right to wear what you want, when you want. Who said they can infringe on our rights as Americans? Students go to school for an education not fashion advice. This school in particular needs to focus on more important things like better school lunches, udating school facilities, more money to the Art programs, and SOAP AND PAPER TOWELS IN THE BATHROOMS. Simply let students wear hats, hoods, leggings. No harm, no foul. Let them come to school in anything they want as long as they have pants, shoes and a shirt.
