Huntington Point Lot Demolition

Howard County is planning on demolishing a property that currently holds an unoccupied house. They are going to clear out 2.02 acres of trees to then put eight houses on. Each new lot will be around 36160.86 square feet. The property, known as Huntington point lot, has also been filled with toxic waste. The previous owner dumped the hazardous waste such as car oil and gasoline in the back yard and never had is properly disposed of. It seeped into the ground and never has been cleaned up. We propose the county should properly clean the land and if necessary, only build a reasonable amount of houses.
