Same sex marriages for disabled cuts our benefit

Why,in these days of legalized same sex marriages,are people on disability penalized by cuts to our SSI benefits?We barely survive on what we get,food stamps,medical,etc.We need to change this dilemma e face!How can we NOT be allowed to Wed ,as everyone else,and have to take a hit on measly benefits,being disabled,and lose so much ?Can we get congress to fix this or are they going to ignore us?DON'T LET CONGRESS IGNORE THIS !IF WE ARE ALREADY RECEIVING THESE BENEFITS,WHY TAKE THEM AWAY?
