It is disturbing that Facebook, a single American company, can manipulate the mood of a third of the world's population by tampering with some algorithms that are inaccessible to all of us.
I have allowed myself to criticize facebook for several of their ways of capturing people but with the consequence that I was excluded from the portal. It can hardly be more totalitarian and facebook is littered with quarantines and exclusions according to very randomly set algorithms.
