North America has become so greedy that it seems most care more about money than family and our own well being. What a God like complex these money hungry, greedy corporations have that they feel the need to have control over another human beings life to the point where they can not ask but force another human against their own will to work beyond regular work hours. Taking away weekends and vacation time. Taking away family and loved ones time. Taking away much needed mending time for the injured to move onto the next work week. Making it so incredibly impossible to make any plans for days off as they may be mandated at anytime. The problem is that there is no protection for employees against this form of human cruelty. The Ministry of Labour has nothing implemented to help us workers in this cause and leaves the employer in total empowerment. Mandating is nothing more than forced labour and the only difference between forced labour and slavery is payment for work completed. Where other countries are moving in the other direction towards a lesser hour work week and creating a healthier life for their employees, North America is forcing people to work beyond their limitations. We need this to change. We need protection. We need time with our families and loved ones. We need time to recharge or batteries between work weeks. We need our Government, Ministry of labour and Human Rights to realize no human should have to live life this way. It is a form of slavery and makes the top of the corporation very rich at the expense of us lowly labourers.
