Save the Ivanhoe River and Ivanhoe lake provincial Park

The Ivanhoe River system is located in Northern Ontario.Canada.This is one our last untouched river.The Ivanhoe river is small  but beautiful.Since Xeneca Power started their Environment Assessment in order to build 2 hydro dams ,they  have depleted the fish count on the river because of their numerous fish surveys that go on and on at the cost of fish population of all type.If these dams are erected ,this beautiful river will die as it is a reservoir for so many  fish species.It will destroy fish spawning beds as fish spawn below falls where Xeneca plans to build the dams.It will be devastating for aquatic birds ,moose,bears, beavers and so on. The ecosystem is very fragile on this river and has already being damage because of lumbering companies . The Ivanhoe Lake provincial park has to be save also as the lake and Park are almost at the top end of the river. These dams are  for pure greed and not for Green Power as advertised. Please help us preserve our Northern Natural resourses .Sign this Petition
