The government should find a way to introduce new law so all the teenagers in this country will think before using knives or guns in killing one another. As am writing this article am shedding tears because another youth has just been killed (Fola). I have lost count of teenagers that has been killed in the last few years why why ?
I believe our government should introduce the following which I strongly believe it will stop all these teenagers from stabbing or shooting one another.
1: if a teenager is in possession of knife he/she should be remanded for 5 years with hard labour.
2: if a teenager is in possession of gun he /she should be remanded for 10 to 15 years with hard labour.
3: if found guilty of murder I would have preferred death sentence but we have no right to take somebody's life so the person gets a life sentence.
Please am appealing to everybody to sign this petition so something can be done because youths of today will be our president/PM/doctor's/engineers/Teachers/Nurses/Pilots/Consultants etc tomorrow.
