We won’t play if Potter isn’t head coach

Recently our schools varsity girls head backetball coach resigned. We have two assistant coaches one by the name of Drew Potter. Coach Potter has been with the Lady Eagles basketball team for ten plus years and has made a huge impact on our lives during his time. When our head coach resigned it was a shock for all and we knew who the perfect person to fill this void in the team was none other than our assistant coach, Coach Potter. He along with multiple others applied for the position with only hopes that he would be the one chosen for the spot. He recently got a call from our high school explaining to him that he did not receive the head coaching position. We were all heartbroken and angry, we thought about what we could do to get the attention of our school and let them know how we feel about the situation. We all came together and decided that if Coach Potter can’t be head coach we will no longer support our school with red and white and play on the Lady Eagles basketball team as long as we are at Franklin County High School!
