Get Direct Flights Back To Long Island!!

  • destinatario: Please Help, Southwest just stopped all direct flights from Chicago to ISP

Southwest Airlines, which has a monopoly on Islip MacArthur Airport just stopped offering direct fights from Chicago Midway, one of thier largest hubs.  Now it is easier to get to San Juan Puerto Rico than Long Island!  Please help me convince Southwest to put atleast one flight from Chicago to ISP back on the schedule.   

This is bad busness for Long Island.  The airline went from 6 direct flights a day. with connections all over the east coast to none.  Now millions of dollars in revenue from taxes, hotel stays and other sales to those travelers go to New York City or Baltimore!  It takes away from our schools and municipalities and our politicians and civic leaders have done nothing to stop it from happening.  

Please sign my petition so that we can reestablish ISP as a regional hub rather than a second rate airport.
