Protest the unsafe & unsanitary conditions in NYC Courts

The Association of Legal Aid Attorneys - UAW Local 2325 (ALAA) will hold a rally on Monday August 2, 2021 at 1pm outside City Hall to demand that the City address the dangerous and unsanitary conditions of the courthouses. The New York State Office of Court Administration (OCA), the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), the New York City Department of Correction (DOC), the New York City Police Department (NYPD), and the Mayor must remediate these deplorable courthouse conditions as in-person court arraignments and appearances begin to resume citywide.

We demand that all the areas of the courthouses, both public and nonpublic, be remediated and kept clean. We are fighting for humanity in an inhumane system and we ask that you lend your name in support.
