Downtown Chappaqua - One Way Street

The Town of New Castle wants to turn the one way section of Allen Place (which runs in front of stores like Scattered Books and the Village Market) into a two way road to create a faster easier exit from the train station for commuters. The negative impact will create a safety issue, especially on Friday when schools get out early, a loss of parking in front of stores, an increase in car, truck and tractor trailer traffic and unsafe conditions for pedestrians. There has been very little opportunity for input from town residents.
