Allow Dogs Off-Leash from 6-9 a.m. at Bullhead Soccer Fields

The USS Bullhead Memorial soccer fields are adjacent to the dog park. The dog park is great, yet there a number of reasons that it may not be adequate, including:

• Dog owners needing exercise. 
• Dogs needing bigger areas to get enough running exercise. 
• Dog owners wishing to avoid dog fights with unruly dogs in the dog park. 
• Dog owners wishing to avoid canine diseases within the dog park.
• Dog foster parents chasing to shelter their timid or recovering fosters.
• Runners and joggers who wish to do so with their dogs.
• The wood chips in dog park are un-navigable for the disabled who need to exercise their dogs.
• And many other reasons. 

The soccer fields are not being used during the 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. time frame for games. We are responsible dog owners and we pick up our dog's waste, plus a lot of waste left over from the soccer games. We are requesting permission to use the soccer fields to exercise our dogs off-leash from 6:00 until 9:00 a.m. daily (we will vacate the fields, in the event of an earlier game).
