Well, we have our first trillionaire. And if this is a sign of things to come, we better act now to nip this in the bud. Because this first one is a nightmare.
Imagine what you could do with a trillion dollars. Eliminate poverty? End hunger? Cure a disease (or a few)?
Or prance around on stage with a chainsaw, make asinine cuts that only make sense if you're high, and eliminate essential programs that save millions of lives.
We've seen enough. Let's put the Trillionaires tax in place ASAP. And just to be safe -- let's make the tax 99%. They'd still have $10 billion left (pretty crazy, huh?)
Okay, maybe less, but seriously, a guy with a trillion dollars shouldn't be paying a lower effective rate than a random guy walking down the street. The trillionaire should be chipping in big time to help.So let's let's make it happen.
