Reduced Energy Evenings

A few of the Kindergarten classrooms at Rodgers School will be participating in the Unless Contest. As part of our project will are helping to save the endangered species of the Tamarins by conserving energy. We asking for our Glassboro families to help by reducing their use of electricity in their home throughout the month of February. We are hoping your family will participate and sign our petition to help conserve energy by having Reduced Energy Evenings. Listed below are some ways you can help cut back on Electricity in your home throughout the month of February!

Using the following products in your home:
• Light emitting diode (LED) light bulbs
• Pipe wrap for your electric hot water heater
• ShowerStart™ showerhead adapter
• Efficient-flow showerheads
• Faucet aerators
• Power strips
• Energy Star appliances
• weather proofing
• replacing heating/cooling equipment
• caulking cracked areas (around windows/doors)
• solar panels
• turn down water heater
• use computerized thermostat to lower heat when not at home
