STOP the Nuclear Waste Dump in Pike County and Demand a Full Cleanup of the PORTS Site NOW!

Pike County, Ohio opposes the construction of a nuclear waste dump (AKA Onsite Waste Disposal Cell) in our community. We want the waste shipped to an arid environment more suitable for nuclear waste disposal. We urge the Department of Energy and the Ohio EPA clean up the existing, leaking landfills and plumes that contribute to "unusual" cancers and health issues that have stricken the people of Pike County and plant employees, and directly related to radiation and other toxic chemicals present at the PORTS plant site over the last 60 years.
