More free healthy recreation for our youth

Their is a serious lack of accessible basketball courts in the city of Waldorf. The absence of basketball courts could be correlational to the increase of drug use in youth because there are not that many free outlets for energy and time provided by the city. as someone that grew up in dc and pg county i can testify that being able to go to a court after school has kept me out of trouble for a long time. It was "boredom" and feeling like i had nothing better to do that lead to me using in my past, and i know that a basketball court could combat that feeling of "boredom."
