Hi My name is Trent Stokes and I a creative alternative for the northwood wall.
The North wood wall is directly across from the lake Brantley parking lot making it a prime venue for an creative community event. This petition is not only for permission from the residents of the community but also backing when approaching the city of Altamonte Springs. I am asking permission from the Northwood community to paint a patriotic mural on the Northwood wall. The mural would represent America and the beauty within even during our times of peril. The Northwood wall wood also serve as a reminder to prevent drug abuse, texting while driving, and possibly a place to pay respect to those who died at Brantley.
This event will be coordinated by The Ultimate Tree House and Mile Stone Projects. We will provide music, games, and food. The Ultimate Tree House will provide paint and art supplies to execute the mural. We wish to also incorporate students from Forest city elementary and Lake Brantley in the development of the mural. Lake Brantley Students will be assigned a designate amount of wall space. Elementary students will be assigned an individual color and number of spaces across the wall to fill.
As a Lake Brantley high school Alumni we wish to send a message to all students that are currently attending about the true meaning of community and its role in our professional development. We wish to have alumni and representatives from the AmeriCorps organization Public Allies of central Florida come to speak to the youth about the importance of giving back. Ultimately
