Rename NE City Park in Gainesville Fl, Tom Petty Park

Tom Petty has been my friend since we were six years old. My father helped establish this park and I lived on the park growing up. Tom Petty lived a few doors away. This was Tom's and my playground growing up. We spent countless hours there.

When Tom came back to Gainesville he would often just walk in the park. Not many knew Tom like I did. He was sorta like my brother. If you will please sign, we will be doing right by Tom. Thank you.
