Change the bar tending age from 21 to 18

I am a 19-year-old that lives and goes to school in Virginia. During my summers I go up to Michigan to work for my grandfather and earn some money for expenses during the school year. This past summer I got to work as a bar tender and during that short time I really enjoyed myself and looked forward to getting a job back home when I left. When I started looking for a job back home I shortly realized that the age requirement for being a bar tender in Virginia is 21 not 18 so I would not be able to continue doing what I enjoy for a job during school. My solution is simple; change the age from 21 to 18. There is no harm in doing this. During my time there I was able to make drinks, serve food, and I never received a complaint. My drinks tasted fine and I could tell this because I was given several compliments on them. The argument that “A bar tender can’t be that good if they can’t even try their own drinks” is not true. I would really like to get a job as a bar tender during my school year, so I can continue to make money while I further my education. The current laws are making that impossible and changing them would not hurt anyone.
