Demand Walhalla city council change water bill due date to the 15th of the month

This petition is to demand that the Walhalla City council allow it's water customers 15 days to pay bills before they have a late fee. Currently water bills are due the 10th of the month but are not received by the customers until after the first day of the month and many times on the 2nd or 3rd or even later. This causes a hardship on water customers trying to pay their bills before they get a late fee. We simply ask Walhalla to do what every other water dept. in Oconee county does and that is to allow us 15 days to pay our bill before we have a late fee.
