My issue is with common core and how it isn't helping. There obviously is no direct correlation between common core and the way we learn, but a lot of people disagree because there is no real reason for it being there. In fact, with all of these people that disagree with it, there should be some kind of vote on it, because we're a democracy and should get to choose how our youth is being taught, at least have some kind of say. I have a connection being a student and that I'm one of the many people that have to deal with it. even though looking at some of the problems that are given to them, were not being taught the way that middle schools and elementary schools are teaching it. They should be able to learn it the way that our parents learned it and their parents, and so on. If we don't do something now, it will only get worse and there will never be any change in the world unless you try to put effort into the things that you believe in. You can't get anywhere unless you start, right?
