Save Tamalpais Cemetery!!!

The Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael is 65 acres and in desperate need of maintenance. The lawns are mostly dry, weedy and full of gopher holes. Many headstones are raised and covered with dirt and debris. There are thistles everywhere.
It is nearly impossible to safely get to many graves as well as even find them from these rough conditions.
According to the. cemetery staff, they can't get enough water to care for the cemetery. They can't access water from other sources as it's deemed untreatable. They have a limited maintenance crew.
Perhaps we, the citizens of San Rafael can impact a change by signing this petition and restoring the once beautiful cemetery.
Please help make the many lives lost have a respectable resting place.
