Designate the Black Swallowtail Butterfly as the official State Butterfly of New Jersey

The Black Swallowtail Butterfly is the perfect pollinator representative to help the public recognize the importance of preserving and growing our pollinator population which includes bees, butterflies, other insects, birds and mammals. It is the cornerstone of our Garden Club of New Jersey Butterflies & BeeGAP (Gardeners Adding Pollinators) Project as one third of the food we eat is dependent on our pollinator population, lately in serious decline.
