RELEASE OF HON ROBERT KYAGULANYI SENTAMU (Aka BOBI WINE) OF UGANDA

As a Ugandan, I am concerned with the level of intolerance in the political arena where divergent political views are punishable, where police has become a partisan organ serving the wishes and aspirations of the regime and not protecting the people and their property.

I am concerned that the young who are trying to make a difference by cleaning the "political dirt" are hunted down as criminals. When shall we ever involve the youth in the affairs of running their country?

The youths in Uganda are the majority with varying potentials to bring about a positive change in Uganda. The recent example being politician Bobi Wine. Unfortunately because of his ideology, he's been arrested, tortured and detained in a military barracks by people who are supposed to protect him as a Honourable.

Someone tell the president that he's killing the enthusiasm of Ugandan youths. The world is watching Uganda in shock and disbelief, the image of Uganda is being tainted, late on sowing the seed of hatred and a bad heart against the regime. This could in the long run promote crime as a result of ugly mass protests in the country.

Bobi Wine needs urgent treatment and possibly a kidney transplant.

Your Excellency -- as a father, a grandfather and as a God fearing leader, we beg of you kindly, to set the young man free so he could access advanced medical treatment which is not available in Uganda such as kidney transplant.

MR PRESIDENT PLEASE WE BEG THE RELEASE OF BOBI WINE AND TO INSPIRE THE YOUTHS OF UGANDA.

WE BEG FOR THE END OF TORTURE AND KILLING OF THE CITIZENS BY THE MILITARY, RESPECT OF THE PARLIAMENT AND, PROMOTING THE RULE OF LAW.
