Shut down Les Laboratoire IRT Baie D'Urfe

The workers presently at IRT, Baie D'Urfe abused animals, as witnessed by an undercover investigation. This treatment of any animal is totally unethical, deplorable and does not meet ANY of the above criteria to which your government espouses.

Although Bill 54 only addresses the proper protection for domestic animals (although our society considers Beagles to be domestic) and certain wild animals, we the undersigned demand that this laboratory which includes pigs, Beagle dogs, monkeys and rats, currently being tortured and subjected to inhumane treatment, by the employees of Les Laboratoires IRT Baie D'Urfe, be shut down immediately!! As well, any research laboratory that subjects animals to any cruelty resulting in its personal financial gain, be investigated throughout the province and shut down!! It is within your mandate M. Paradis according to Chapter 8 Regulatory provision, to do so.
