Recently, people have started putting raw egg into their dogs' mouths, mostly golden retrievers. It's a test to prove that dogs mouths are soft on the inside. The trick is that the dog can hold the egg in their mouths without cracking it. The trend has also started to spread to other breeds of dogs, too.
This may seem like a fun game at first, but in reality, it can be dangerous for the dog to hold a raw egg in their mouth.
Firstly, there's the obvious chance the dog can accidentally swallow and choke on the egg.
But there's also the chance your dog contracts a disease. The reason people cook their eggs is so they don't contract salmonella, which is a disease that dogs can contract as well. By putting a raw egg in your dog's mouth, you increase their risk of getting salmonella.
