My name is Maha Maqbool, I am 14 and I am Muslim.
I have seen Racism and Discrimination all throughout my life. I have seen people put down MY people because they think were "dangerous". I have seen people tell us to take of OUR hajibs because suddenly we don't have a right. I have Muslim Mothers in my town getting beating because theyre Muslim and finally it has to stop right here, right now.
Donald Trump has put this idea into people's minds saying that "were unsafe" and "we must be banned from United States", but all for what? because you think that were all terrorists? because you think that violence is all were made of? He does not have the right to tell me I am made of violence when he has never prayed with us, learned about our religion with us, got to know us and seen the potential of US ALL. No one has the right to tell me that all these ISIS bombings are my fault. My religion is not a part of ISIS, terrorism because TERRORISM has no religion.
Islam teaches love, respect and kindness. It teaches us to be humble and loyal to our god. It teaches us to love our families and respect our religions. Once you have met every muslim in this world you have no right to base all of us on these stereotypes. How pathetic do I sound if I say, All Germans are Nazis? That is exactly how "Muslims are Terrorists" sounds and every other stereotype of a culture, religion or race.
Please, stand with me against Donald Trump. America will never be great again with a selfish and racist man in charge. I don't even live in Canada and I fear what will happen to the WORLD if donald trump gets elected. Open your eyes.
