Wetlands are the source of life for our coastlines, lakes, and rivers. Greedy Developers are destroying these vital natural resources at increasing rates. Once these irreplacable natural resources are gone so will all of the species that depend upon them for life. We must prevent developers from making a profit for themselves at the expense of the environment and those that appreciate our natural resources.
We must act Now before the last of the wetlands is destroyed!
WE THE PEOPLE of The United States demand that Our Representatives in public office, The President, Our Senators, and the House of representatives take immediate action to save our wetlands. We request specifically that you:
1) Ban the selling and buying of wetlands for the purposes of development, and filling, and dumps.
2) Ban All building on Wetlands, throughout the United States.
3) Stop all development currently in progress at its present state of development and order its removal from all environmentally sensitive areas
4) Restore wetlands to its natural state in environmentally sensitive areas.
5) Create and amend laws to raise fines and jailtime to a prohibitive level, for destruction of, pollution or dumping in wetlands.
