Help flood affected families in Nepal rebuild

The recent flooding in Nepal is considered to be the worst in the last 15 years. The monsoon has affected over 1.7 million people and displaced more than 40,000 families in 35 districts, partially or completely damaged over 200,000 houses, and left roads impassable.

Sadly, little news coverage has been devoted to the communities devastated by the monsoon and flooding. However, together we can make a difference in the lives of flood affected families and aid in their recovery.

Together with local non-governmental organizations, Habitat for Humanity has helped flood affected families clean up their houses, and distributed relief materials such as water bag packs, tarpaulin sheets, waterpurifiers, and mosquito nets.
