Sycamore Square Shopping Center and the immediate surrounding Midlothian area are steeped in history dating back to the mid-1700's. We would like to keep Sycamore Square Shopping Center alive and vibrant, as the shopping center is part of the history of Midlothian. The departure of Ukrops/Martins has lessened the amount of traffic into the surrounding local shops. Local shop owners in the area desire a chain/destination store that will assist in revitalizing our historic, neighborhood shopping center. We, as stakeholders in this cause, believe that Trader Joe's would be a perfect fit for Midlothian. On a daily basis, clients and customers have expressed interest in a grocery store like Trader Joe's to join our community. We are asking for Trader Joe's to consider Sycamore Square for its next location.
