Stand With First Nations for the Environment and our Shared Future

These days our environment is under constant threat, from tar sands oil extraction, the Enbridge pipeline, and more.
Worse still, many of the threats from oil companies and giant corporations would directly impact the territories of First Nations people, who already face discrimination and government inaction on a daily basis.
In the face of these threats, First Nations across North America have taken the courageous step of banning tar sands pipelines and tankers from their lands and waters using their own Indigenous laws, and have done so in unprecedented unity.
In the International Treaty to Protect the Sacred from Tar Sands Projects, nations and tribes opposing tar sands projects like Enbridge's affirmed that they will stand together against Big Oil, and they have asked citizens like us to do so as well.
It's time to show this fight is one all Canadians share. Please add your signature to the International Treaty to Protect the Sacred from Tar Sands Projects formally pledging your solidarity and support for First Nations fighting to protect the land and water from tar sands oil.
