Add Your Name: Colorado's Elections Should Be Fair and Inclusive!

Freedom and fairness are core Colorado values. But not everyone got that memo, and many voters are faced with a system that isn't nearly as free or fair as it could be.

Now, even though Colorado has more unaffiliated voters than Democrats or Republicans, independent voters are barred from primaries. And the caucus system depresses turnout so much that only about 5% of registered voters actually participated in our last presidential caucus.

It's time to fight back for a healthy democracy. We must restore the presidential primary and open primary elections to the state's more than 1 million unaffiliated voters.
