End the Running of the Bulls

Whereas, the Spanish State hosts an annual event each July called the Running of the Bulls in which bulls are set loose, and

Whereas, many of the spectators try to out-run the bull as they risk injury and death as was often the case, and

Whereas, the destination of the bulls is the bullring where they are usually and cruelly slaughtered,

We the undersigned therefore request that the Spanish Government abolish this barbaric tradition since it constantly endangers the lives of humans and bulls alike.
