Tell the EPA to Protect the Grand Canyon from Coal Pollution!

We have less than a few weeks to clean up the dirtiest coal plant in Arizona and save the Grand Canyon from devastating pollution.
EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy is deciding right now whether to enforce the Clean Air Act at Navajo Generating Station (NGS) coal plant.
The plant is located just 12 short miles from one of Arizona’s natural treasures, Grand Canyon National Park. There are days when the skies above the Grand Canyon are so full of smog, that visitors cannot see the park’s full beauty.
Tell Administrator McCarthy to enforce the Clean Air Act, protect local communities, and clean up the skies over Grand Canyon National Park.
To EPA Administrator McCarthy,
The public need for clean air, not an owner-driven proposal to avoid pollution controls and delay clean-up, must drive the future of Navajo Generating Station. But it won't unless you act decisively.
It is time long past time for EPA to stop giving special treatment to this coal plant and require it to meet the same standards as every other coal-plant in the nation.
