Sign to support LGBTQ youth affected by the impacts of coronavirus

The LGBTQ community has made tremendous strides in recent years towards their fight for equality. Recently, the Supreme Court delivered a huge victory to the community by making it illegal to discriminate against LGBTQ people in the workplace. But there is still much work to be done.

The coronavirus has massively impacted the safety of LGBTQ youth. As domestic violence reports are skyrocketing due to mounting tensions caused by COVID-19, LGBTQ youth who live in unsafe, unsupportive homes are living in fear of violence and have limited access to live-saving in-person support programs. As a result, many are afraid to flee their homes, or are kicked out with nowhere to go in the middle of a global pandemic.

Before the outbreak, up to 40 percent of homeless youth identified as LGBTQ. And because of COVID-19, the number of homeless LGBTQ youth has likely increased.

The need for intervention and suicide prevention services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25 has never been higher in recent years. And you can show your support today.

Right now you can support LGBTQ youth impacted by the coronavirus by participating in Credo Mobile's monthly public vote that determines how Credo will allocate $150,000 to three different organizations.

Sign the action today and we'll send you the link to vote for LGBTQ youth crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to receive funding from CREDO.
