Tell Marco Rubio to Face the Reality of Climate Change

Senator Marco Rubio of Florida is suffering from a severe case of climate denier syndrome.

Here’s what he said in a recent interview:

"I do not believe that human activity is causing these dramatic changes to our climate the way these scientists are portraying it."

You read that right. Senator Marco Rubio, presidential hopeful and senator of a state suffering directly from the impact of climate change, doesn’t believe the facts that are already impacting the lives of millions of Americans.

Even scarier—he’s not alone.

In the Republican Party, climate denier syndrome has spread from Tea Party radicals all the way to prominent GOP leaders like Mitch McConnell & John Boehner.

This is not the time to ignore verifiable facts. And it is definitely not the time for candidates for office to run on anti-science platforms.

The reality is that Americans across the country are in danger of losing their homes, their communities, and even their lives.
