Please reduce Residential speed limits in the Dewey/Stone area-Specifically Barnard St coupled with Warning SIgns i.e Children at Play

Barnard Street residents are frustrated with the traffic and the lack of respect for the speed limit and the children playing inthe street. This has been addressed numerous times buy home owners in the area with no respnse or resolution. All we have ever been told is this is the first/last street before the city and all town vehicles need to be able to get down our street, ruling out any speed humps to discourage fast drivers. Multiple neighbors have, on camera, many incidents that are very concering, one involving a Plice Vehicle speeding down our street with no lights and almost hit a child, the child had to be dragged out of harms way by a mother with vbery quick reflexes. That was the breaking poiint for this neighborhood. All we ask is more patrol, more speeding tickets issued and a simple sign warning speeders of children playing. We also have numerous Elders on our street ho cant move out of the way as fast or maybe cant see as well to avoid a speeding car. This has been on ongoing situatuion for years and the past 6 years we have become a bit more aggressive. This neighborhood is falling apart and it would be nice for the town to reconize the NE side of Greece and improve it greatly, considering we are paying Greece taxes just like every other Greece Homeowner and we deserve a safe street for our kids, at the very least, to see the Town try to fix it would be a huge improvement.
