The Republicans are misrepresenting their views to the American people.
The Republican National Convention will feature many speakers. However, the three main speakers will be New York Governor George Pataki, former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani and California Governor Arnold Schwarzanegger. What's wrong this picture? All three are pro-choice and anti-FMA. Why is the GOP ashamed of its true face?
I am outraged that the Republican Party is attempting to mislead the American public and manipulate American voters by misrepresenting their Party. They are the party of pro-life and pro-federal marriage amendment. Yet, their three main speakers support the opposite of those positions. I believe that you should stick with what you believe in. And that means letting your true leaders speak. But the Republicans are scared that extremists like Tom DeLay will scare American voters. And you know what? They're right. But that doesn't mean their behavior is justified. I'm signing this petition because I'm tired of politics as usual. I want the parties to be straightforward with me, and it starts here.
