Perrier is building a plant eight miles south of Big Rapids. It will pump 400 gallons per minute (210,240,000 gallons per year) of spring water that feeds Lake Michigan.
Perrier only had to pay $85 for the permit and stands to make 1.8 million a day. In addition, over the last 12 years perrier has paid no school/property taxes for 12 years, and this new venture may only create 80 new jobs.
Perrier will make 1.8million a day with their new product, "Ice Mountain". Meanwhile, Lake Michigan will be losing the fresh new water it needs to remain a healthy vibrant lake ecosystem.
Sign Now and Tell Perrier/ Nestle that you won't use their products until they stop destroying our environment.
AND then, Boycott Nestle Corp.

We, The undersigned, do respectfully insist that you cease all water diversion from the Great Lakes. In particular, your plant eight miles south of Big Rapids should be eliminated and your new line of "Ice Mountain" water should not be undertaken.
Pumping 400 gallons per minute from the spring water that feeds Lake Michigan will severely diminish the fresh resources that the lake needs to remain a vibrant and healthy lake ecosystem. We cannot stand by and watch the destruction of our Great Lakes!
We, the undersigned agree to boycott all Nestle/Perrier products until you comply with our demands.
Please cease operations for "Ice Mountain" Immediately.
