Stop the Good old Boys of Alabama

This bill was signed into law by Alabama Republican governor Robert Bentley without one single vote from the population of Alabama. In this law, persons of ethnic backgrounds are being targeted by the state which will result in the most extreme cases of legal racial profiling in American history. On the surface this law appears to be about saving money for the state however because it requires citizens to prove who they are even when they vote, shows us that it is more about political power than economics. It specifically requires citizens of Alabama to have a unexpired state issued Identification card.
This part of the law will disenfranchise many poor citizens that do not have the resources to obtain state identification. This will allow those who are in office to keep their current elected positions while taking away these rights from younger and older members of the populations.
