Reinstate Mark Miller as the Fire Chief of Cambria CSD Fire Department

On April 12, 2011, the General Manager fired CCSD Fire Chief Mark Miller. Chief Miller has appealed the decision. By signing this petition, I am adding my voice to others who are calling on the Cambria Community Services District Board of Directors to immediately re-instate Mark Miller as the Fire Chief of the Cambria CSD Fire Department.

Excerpt of an email from Chief Miller on 4/20/11:
Thank you for the continued support.  We have a good reason to believe that it is %u201Cessential%u201D to assemble all of those going to the meeting on the 28th %u2013 at 10:45 prior to the closed session.  There may be an opportunity for public comment prior to the closed session and again at the beginning of the regular meeting.  This effort will be very important to influence the direction of the Board.

 Also %u2013 the following is excerpted from the response from my attorney.  This is her reply to me requesting the opportunity to reveal and respond to the GM%u2019s charges against me.

%u201CAlso, I know it%u2019s hard not to respond to questions, but you should not release the reasons for your termination or your responses.

That said, you can indicate to your contacts that the termination had absolutely nothing to do with misconduct on Mark%u2019s part or violation of District policy.%u201D
