Allowing Government to Control our Kids?

With the announcement of the current President of the United States addressing our children in our public schools causes concerned parents to ask why the government should be the ones who promote values and morals of our children?  I say that it is the parent's role to promote such values and morals and not that of officials in Washington.  The job of Commander in Chief is to take care of the COUNTRY not predict his own morals and values to OUR CHILDREN.  As parents, we all need to speak up and let the government know that we are in control of our children and it is the job of the parents not the government to teach our kids respect, love, honor, joy, happiness and the importance of values and morals.  The government needs to mind to business that keeps the country safe and out of debt and focus on the REAL ISSUES that the country is having.  While the current President of the U.S. may have great values or not, it is an opinion and because he is in this leadership role, he should not be taking advantage of such role and express his opinions of his own values and morals to OUR CHILDREN.  We need to speak up in order to make the GOVERNMENT focus on the COUNTRY and not our CHILDREN.  If you agree with what is stated here and do not agree with President Barrack Obama, speaking to our kids about his morals and goals, then show your support by signing this petition.  While Mr. Obama may be a very trustworthy man, that is a matter of opinion and his opinion should not be instilled in our children.
