Ban on glue-board trap

I believed that most of you have read the recent news on cats being trapped in glue traps. I hope that Singaporeans will support the ban against these traps as it is endangering the lives of animals.
Glue traps are one of the cruelest pest controlling methods in the market. Animals caught on these traps often suffer for days before dying of starvation, dehydration and shock. Some animals resort to self mutilation and chewing off their limbs or even escaping by ripping off their skin in a desperate attempt to escape. This is beyond cruelty!
So i urge everyone to support the banning of glue board traps! Please HELP!
Please also help SPCA by writing to AVA at ava_cawc@ava.gov.sg to urge them to ban the use of such traps and to your town council to make sure they do not use such traps.
