We Are Family Day will celebrate our common humanity.
We are a population of almost 7 billion people, growing by 222,686 people per day on 1 planet.
As the world becomes smaller due to the ability to communicate faster and more efficiently, it is imperative that the citizens of the world learn about cultural differences and similarities.
In a world where conflict and misunderstanding between cultures, religious groups and countries dominate the landscape, it is imperative that the citizens of the world learn about those who are different from them and create a global outreach for the greater good. We are all in this together.
We Are Family Day will provide an opportunity for teachers, parents and educators of all kinds to teach our youth about different cultures, religions and the importance of respecting our fellow human beings.
