Decommission / Disband the Electoral College

The power of the Individual US Citizen's vote has been watered down by the reliance on the electoral college to actually decide the presidential candidate.  This request simply is to get rid of the electoral college and have everyone's vote count as a single vote.

We the undersigned citizens of the United States, request that the electoral college be decommissioned.  We recognize the great privilege and freedom that voting represents and in the spirit of the values that spawned our great country we request that every individual voter's vote count as a single vote solely determining the outcome of an election; and not have the superimposition of another body of people to influence the results.
